State of the Union Address- The Fishing Version

state of the union fishing versionWhat the devil is happening in the fishing world?!?

In this video, Chad Hoover is giving a State of the Union Address – The Fishing Version and talking about what he thinks the next steps are to getting things back on the right track. He addresses boat fishing, ice fishing, trolls, haters, CPR, chicken fart nerd candy, live bait fishing and a lot more.

If you like fishing, this might be for you. If you are on social media at all, you should definitely watch this.

Subsets are not battle lines, they’re opinions. Check out the video and leave a comment whether you agree or disagree with Chad’s State of the Union – Fishing Version.

  1. Agreed. There are many out there that hate and don’t know they are doing it. We are all fishers of men. It’s not about who is better than the other or how you do certain things. It’s about spending time in the great outdoors doing what you love and meeting new people with the same interests as you.

  2. Yakkin community was always commended for being innovative and welcoming to all who came. It’s been a disconcerting trend with all the negativity the last 3 or so years. I agree about getting back to what made use unique and focus on our strengths again.

  3. Great to hear this viewpoint! We can all use this as a practice in daily life and not just fishing!

  4. Yeah, the bashing a guy for keeping a fish and worshipping fish like gods is getting really old. I’ve recently left other industries because of this type of high level of unprofessionalism. I hope it never gets to that point with something I love so dearly.

    1. Hi Kevin, Here is some info:
The Feelfree Moken 14 is an off-shore fishing machine: fast enough to reach the fishing grounds and plenty of stability for fishing the flats. Capable and seaworthy in waves, the Moken 14 features a standing area for sight fishing, plenty of internal storage and Feelfree’s quick release modular Uni-Track system. An optional rudder helps with steering on windy days and Feelfree’s proven Wheel in the Keel makes it easy to roll from your pickup to put in.
