WS Airpro Phase III High Seat Lighting

So, I wanted to create a light for the subject seat. What I ended up creating was a lighted tackle box that you can use ANYWHERE! Use it at the ramp to organize your stuff. Put it in the cavity under your seat and turn it on long enough to retie a lure. Take it to the campsite after your fishing trip is over.

My favorite part of this is that of the 6 compartments, you still have 5 open to stuff with whatever sort of fishing/hunting/camping/auto stuff you want!

An added bonus is that when you open the box, the top lies right in front of the SuperNova Fishing Lights LED strip, which illuminates the whole top!

I built 10 of these and have most of them out for Test & Evaluation. Can’t wait to see how well they are received.

Vanna White was not available to turn the letters, so this is the best model we could find! 🙂

  1. What would it take to put in compliance with lighting rules for navigation on water. This would enable to be on water at night. This would add three lights (visible for two miles) one red, one green, change the stern pole be a white light (360 degree visitable). Reference the Color 72 regs from USCG for US waters). Just a thought to ponder.

  2. Here’s the thing – Per Coast Guard and local Virginia law where I live, navigation lights are not required on our canoes & kayaks with no motors. I personally advise AGAINST Nav lights on a kayak. I do not want someone to think that I can maneuver out of their path because they think that they have the right of way.
For that reason, I do not use green or red lights on the outside of my kayak. I have a single white light above my head, visible 360°, which indicates “anchored.” This is appropriate, since we move so slowly.
I do have blue lights on my kayak, but that is not an issue because they cannot be mistaken for navigation lights.
