From Lucid Fishing (http://www.lucidfishing.com/max-memorial.html)
For those of you who do not already know this past Saturday was a very tough day for a lot of people. We are heartbroken and so very saddened by the loss of a friend and fellow kayak angler. It is going to take some time for this to truly set in but I know that we can come together as a community and family and get through this as one. Please send many prayers to his family, friends, and anyone else Max ever came into contact with because we are sure that he had the same profound impact on them that he had on everyone.
Max and his girlfriend Kat are expecting to deliver their first child – a baby boy named “Bear” in the next couple of weeks. As fellow anglers, parents, and friends we all know how hard and expensive kids can be. We are pleading with everyone to please come together with us and help to make sure we give Baby Bear anything he might need in his first stage of life!
Max will live on through Bear and we personally can’t wait to meet this little guy and watch him grow up. We know Max would have given his son the world, so we want to make sure that still happens!
We are working with Max’s family to ensure that all donations will be going directly to the family. Any physical gifts that you wish to send please email us at [email protected] for more details. In the memo section please write “MAX”.
Please visit the Max Memorial Page to make a donation.
