GREENVILLE, S.C. (May 19, 2017) – Wilderness Systems will sponsor the world’s largest freshwater and saltwater tournaments in 2017, including KBF National Championship and Ride the Bull.
“Wilderness Systems is dedicated to promoting, strengthening and growing the kayak fishing community,” said Evan Lyendecker, marketing director for Wilderness Systems. “We’re proud to support some of the sport’s best anglers.”
In 2017, Wilderness Systems is sponsoring and attending 10 top-tier tournaments spanning both freshwater and saltwater locales, including Gimme Shelter Kayak Fishing Tournament in May, and Ride the Bull in August.
“We are committed to making the best fishing kayaks and accessories on the market, and Wilderness Systems’ incredibly talented Pro Staff anglers provide feedback, testing and innovative ideas that help us push the boundaries in product design, and in turn allow them to take the sport to new levels,” said Lyendecker. “We are excited for the partnerships, events, and tournaments throughout the 2017 season.”
Wilderness Systems is also supporting Heroes on the Water—an organization dedicated to helping military veterans decompress, rehabilitate, and find strength through fishing and kayaking—by sponsoring several tournaments that benefit the organization. Wilderness Systems will be present at the events with its innovative angling kayaks including the A.T.A.K., Tarpon 130X, Thresher, and the new Radar.
